Chem-Dry Going Up!

Turn on the evening news, and you hear about the stock market going down. Again!

Open the newspaper, more of the same.

The news online is; you guessed it. More Doom & Gloom

What's a body to do?

1. Rejoice in the fact that you live in Albuquerque, and our local economy has not been affected like some other areas around the country. In talking to local business leaders, Realtors, builders and some politicians, (hopefully, the honest ones), we have or are very near to the bottom of the downturn and will see things turn around for the better by the 3rd quarter of this year. Obviously this is an informal survey with a margin of error of 4% - 96%.

Albuquerque is a great place to be!

2. Everyone has cut back to one degree or another. One area where we can help is your carpet, upholstery, area rugs or leather. You're probably not inclined to make a large purchase like carpets in an economic climate, (even Albuquerque's), such as the one we have right now. Well, clean that carpet one more time with Chem-Dry.

With the extreme effectiveness of our the Chem-Dry sytem, combined with the gentleness and lack of over-wetting of our system, you can easily get a few more years out of that carpet you were thinking might be ready for the recycle center, (remember, we don't put carpet in the landfills anymore).

We guarantee our work 100%, so if we say we can clean it and you are not satisfied after we are done, you won't pay! WOW! Risk-Free carpet cleaning. Now that's a novel concept.

3. For all of our repeat customers, we have our annual "WHITE SALE". This means if you mention this blog when you call for your appointment, you will get 40% off cleaning of: carpet, upholstery, tile, leather and area rugs. Get your share of the loot! The Chem-Dry Bail-Out / Stimulus Program
Call now to take advantage of our biggest discount, (BY FAR), of the year!

Cold Weather Freezin' You?

Don't let the cold weather keep you from making your house a "Healthy Home." Many people will put off cleaning carpets during the colder weather months because of dry times. With steam cleaning or do-it-yourself carpet cleanings, it can take days to dry. Because of the cold, nobody wants to go out and therein lies the problem.
Wet carpets + family = nothing good!
When Chem-Dry of Albuquerque and Chem-Dry of New Mexico clean your carpets, you can be entertaining guests that evening. With Chem-Dry, your carpets will be sparkling clean, healthy and DRY in about 2 hours! That is dry in 2 hours without having to open the doors, turn the heat up to 85 degrees, put fans in every room or try to import the Sahara desert climate to your living room.

How convenient is that?

As an added incentive for you to clean before February 28th, we have our biggest discount of the year on cleaning! Just mention this post.

So don't hesitate to call us because of the cold weather. Clean now and save big!

Tile is hard..... to clean.

Been there. Done that.

Have you had those "everyone gets a toothbrush" tile & grout cleaning parties? We have had them at our house and I have one thing to say about them.

THEY SUCK!

Fortunately, we at Chem-Dry of Albuquerque & Chem-Dry of New Mexico have a tile & grout cleaning system that will save not only your back and knees, but also that hard to clean kitchen flooor.

We have rescued some floors that looked, well, like they hadn't been cleaned in 20 years. Mainly, because they hadn't. Until the last couple years, this type of cleaning was not available, so you either lived with it, or got out some of the kids old, (hopefully not still in use), toothbrushes and spend the morning, afternoon and part of the evening cleaning.

Call us today for a free estimate on cleaning you tile & grout.

P.S. - We also do counters and shower enclosures.

Chem-Dry Slide Show

Got Pets?
Chances are you have had some "accidents" then. No matter how much training Fluffy, Spot & Groucho get, once and a while, things happen. When it happens, here is a few tips to help you so your guests don't think you live in a kennel.
1. SPEED. You need to be SUPER SONIC! The faster you can clean the area, the less problems you will have.
2. BLOT, BLOT,BLOT. Before you start dumping gallons of water on the spot, blot the area with some paper towels or any type of absorbent cloth. Urin
e is water based and by flooding the area immediately, you are diluting the urine, but also spreading it to a much larger area and taking deeper into the carpet and possibly the pad.
3. CLEAN. After you have blotted the area until it feels dry, (I know. That sounds like you have to touch the spot. NO. Just look at the absorbent cloth. If it isn't picking up any moisture, it's dry en
ough.) When the spot is dry, apply a liberal amount of mild, non-residual cleaner to the area and then blot again until dry. Re-apply the cleaner and blot until dry.
4. SE
LF-SERVING ADVERTISEMENT. To clean those spots, use our patented World Famous Spot Remover. It leaves no dirt-attracting residues and is a GREAT cleaner! For a deodorizer, we have a product, Pet Odor Eliminator, that works well on FRESH pet spots. You can get these products by calling us or contacting by email. You can either stop by our office or when we are in the area, we can even deliver it.

Remember, you call always call us for FREE ADVISE. Ya. I know. We're pretty generous, but, that's just us.

Area Rug Cleaning

From the initial inspection to the finished product, we have the most advanced area rug cleaning system in the state.

  1. A thorough pre-inspection.
  2. The rug is then dusted to remove all the particulate dry soil.
  3. The rug is then pre-conditioned with a appropriate cleaner to emulsify soils and stains.
  4. We then do a full-imersion cleaning. The rug is cleaned while having fresh water rinsing it as we are cleaning it.
  5. The rug is then flush rinsed with clear water.
  6. Then the rug is extracted.
  7. Any follow up spotting is then done.
  8. Fringes are cleaned by hand with an acidic rinse applied to prevent yellowing.
  9. Rugs are then hung on our drying rack and speed dryed.
  10. Before wrapping in brown paper, (so the rug can breathe), it is inspected one last time.

If you have an area rug you are concerned about, please call us and we can give you prices and answer any other questions you have.
